1 Society-

A fresh vegetable delivery solution app designed specifically for urban Indian housewives. As a personal project, I created the brand identity for 1 Society, which aimed to be visually appealing, fresh, and modern. In this case study, I will take you through my design process. I will show you how I created a brand identity that effectively communicates the freshness and the modern feeling of the app.

The Challenge

The challenge was to create a brand identity that would attract and engage housewives between 26 and 40 years of age who are familiar with online shopping. As it delivers fresh vegetables, the brand needed to convey a sense of freshness. Also, it should have a friendly and welcoming appearance.

The logo’s use cases include being used on smaller screens as an app icon, app screens, and on different materials, such as packaging, so it must be readable and recognizable on different surfaces.

The Solution

To meet the challenge, I developed a brand identity combining friendly and modern design elements, such as a simplified logo incorporating a grocery bag with the 1 from 1 society emblem. In addition to the logo mark, the design has rounded corners and the Baloo typeface complements it. In order to convey a sense of freshness and trustworthiness, the color palette used green and blue hues.

This logo works well in any size and is easily readable. The modern vibe attracts target customers. Fits all the necessary parameters.

Keywords

When starting the design process for the 1 Society brand, the first step was to identify keywords and create a semantic map that would help guide the logo design. The main focus of the brand was on fresh vegetables, so the keyword “fresh” was a natural starting point.

Other keywords that were identified included “grocery bag” and “green”, which represented the idea of delivery and the sustainable nature of the brand.

Visual Language, & Elements

1 Society’s visual language is all about keeping it simple and fresh, with minimal illustrations of fruits and veggies on a wave-patterned background to give it that extra depth and dynamism to the design. I even added some smileys to showcase the brand’s happy and fresh nature!

Outdoor Branding

I used vibrant colors and bold typography to convey the brand’s message and attract potential customers. The designs featured colorful illustrations of fresh vegetables and fruits, along with playful smileys to emphasize the brand’s cheerful and fresh nature.

The banners and murals were strategically placed in high-traffic areas such as busy streets and marketplaces, ensuring maximum visibility and exposure for the brand.
